How Mindfulness calms Challenging Behaviours
Presenter: Karen Gilles-Reid (Mindful Behaviour Consultant & Mindfulness Coach)
Wednesday 29 Sept | 7-8pm
At Metta Centre in person or via Zoom
Cost: By Donation
In this one hour interactive workshop, Karen presents her Mindful Behaviour Management approach, which is grounded in mindfulness and non-violence, as a way to deal with children, adolences and adults engaging in challenging behaviours. Participants are provided with a visceral experience of how mindful self-regulation fosters more reflective awareness and compassionate responses towards oneself and others, and in turn pacifies any challenging behaviours.
The course will be delivered online via Zoom, and if the Metta Centre hall has re-opened by then, participants are also welcome to join us in person at the Centre.
