Our basic goodness is available to us, regardless of how far it may seem. Fear, anxiety and distraction may seem normal in our often busy lives, yet we can be free of these. It is not something that happens quickly, yet with confidence in our practice, slowly, slowly our hearts can open. And we can recognise our basic goodness and let that be our GPS. We invite your questions for this talk as the session would be an interactive one. We will also practice some short meditation sessions together.

About the Presenter

Venerable Aileen has been practicing Buddhism for some 30 years now and she ordained in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition in 2004. While Venerable Aileen’s main Teachers and practice instruction come from within this tradition, she has also had teachings across other traditions also. Currently, Venerable Aileen is completing a 2 year Buddhist Chaplaincy training with Upaya Zen Center and she visits a women’s prison as a voluntary Chaplain. Venerable Aileen has worked and served within the Dharma across a range of activities including working closely in the organising team of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s visits to Australia; working with Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo and Venerable Robina Courtin. Venerable Aileen lived in India for 8 years, at Jetsunma’s Nunnery and traveled with her.
