About the speaker: Gary has a varied meditation background, having practiced in Mahasi, U Ba Khin/Goenka, and other Theravada lineages as well as MBSR (Mindfulness-based stress reduction). He has been fortunate to learn from exceptional teachers including Bhante Vimalaramsi, Sayadaw U Tejaniya, and Tuere Sala. He received pivotal instruction from Luang Por Ganha.
Gary’s professional career in strategy and sustainability consulting took him to Africa, Europe, India, South East Asia. His work often involves applying an empathic perspective to help governments and businesses design services and products that better meet the needs of diverse and underserved communities.
