Join our rejuvenating mindful yoga classes to help improve your inner balance, calm and focus. Perfect for anyone seeking a more mindful practice, this class explores the mind-body connection through deliberate movements and breathwork. Don’t miss this chance to experience the transformative power of yoga. Bring your own yoga mat, or borrow one of ours!
Self-care: Modern life can lead to a lot of stress on our body and mind. These sessions teach participants to unwind, relax and let go of the tensions in the body and mind. By freeing up the tension inside of us, we can improve our health and overall performance.
Community bonding: Forge connections with fellow yogis and peers from diverse backgrounds and life paths. Together, we explore how mindful movement and breathwork can support a healthy body and mind.
No prior experience needed! Our Mindful Yoga is open to everyone, regardless of your yogic ability. You are warmly invited to join our inclusive and welcoming community.
About the Instructor: Yvonne Dang is an accredited yoga teacher who wants to share yoga’s many benefits with the community and welcomes all levels to join her in exploring and developing their practice. Her classes are designed to be accessible and engaging – she can’t wait to meet you on the mat!
About us: Metta Centre is an inclusive, socially-engaged, and non-sectarian Buddhist non-profit organisation. We host events, retreats, and programs that advance social welfare and peace within individuals, the community, families, and in the world. We strive to bring Buddhism to the community in ways that are interesting, relevant and accessible. We are guided by the principles of Buddhism to do what is good, to avoid what is evil and to purify the mind. We are interested in holistic change for a better inner and outer world. We welcome you to be a part of this change.
