Equanimity isn’t Dull, it’s a Radical Superpower!
November 6 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Event Navigation
Equanimity gets a bad rap. While images of being cool, calm, and collected appeal to some on the spiritual path, others see equanimity as a mere add-on to the more exciting states of transcendence and freedom. This session will explore equanimity’s unique role in the spiritual path. We will chat about what it is and isn’t and consider how it can lead to radical acceptance of life exactly as it is, as we surf the turbulent waves of samsaric life – because we all know it can get choppy out there! In our meditation, we will cultivate the equanimity of a sturdy mountain as the eight worldly winds keep rolling around us and through us. Buckle in!
