How do we abandon craving?

A dialogue with Ajahn Sadaro

Wed 2 March | 7-8.30pm

Online: links provided below

Cost: Free

Buddhism teaches us that we should strive to be free from craving (Tanha), but what about our craving to develop ourselves towards enlightenment, hold a moral standard, or be a useful member of society? Are there different kinds of craving, some useful, some not so useful? The talk will focus on what kinds of craving we should develop, and what kind of craving we should abandon, and how to know the difference between the two. This talk will be an interactive session with time for questions and answers.

About the Presenter: Ajahn Sādaro ordained in the forest tradition in Thailand in 2005. After practicing throughout SE Asia, he returned to Australia in 2015 and now currently resides at the Buddhist Society of Victoria’s Buddhaloka Vihara in Melbourne.
