Metta Centre supports lay people who wish to offer all or part of their homes or business premises to support visiting monastics to stay temporarily, as a way to connect visiting monastics with lay supporters in the sharing of the Dhamma. These spaces become Dhamma Lighthouses, connected together through Metta Centre, so they have the support of the Metta Centre community of volunteers to enable the hosts to manage these spaces sustainably and informally. Metta Centre currently supports a number of Dhamma Lighthouses in different locations in Sydney and Melbourne. Contact us if you wish to offer a space as part of the Dhamma Lighthouses project.
