This three week teaching will explain in detail the 12 Links of Dependent Origination, with special emphasis on the first link, ignorance; the second link, karmic formations; the third link, consciousness (and the way karmic imprints are deposited); and the 6th to 9th links, the process of death.


About the Speaker: Ven. Tenzin Jamyang Born in Canada in 1971, Venerable Tenzin Jamyang (Jean-Francois Boily) became a Buddhist at the age of twenty. After completing university and working as a teacher, he left everything to go to Dharamsala, India where he studied Tibetan language and Buddhism with Tibetan teachers including His Holiness the Dalai Lama for five years. Following the advice of his teachers, he went to Sera Jey Monastery in South India where he enrolled in 2014 the lengthy nineteen year geshe program which mainly focuses on the study of the five great classical subjects of Pramanavartika, Paramita, Madhyamaka, Vinaya and Abhidharma. He is currently in the fourteenth year of the program.

He currently teaches Buddhist philosophy and Mind training texts online in French through On the Wings of Hayagriva.
